POSE - Tiara Pear Wedding Ring 950 Platinum
Compare the stone arrangement and complete dimensions, with fit and care checked for this selected design.
View this designStatement eternity rings make a feature of a more substantial, stone-set band. Explore bold diamond and gemstone arrangements in platinum and gold, with larger accents and detailed settings that catch the light across the finger. The width, depth and pattern of the stones give each design its presence, whether worn alone or paired with an engagement ring.
Compare the widest part of the design, its height and the way it spans the finger. Oval, cushion and shaped settings can have different footprints at similar total weights. Read whether the stones cover the full band or only part of it.
Try the ring beside any engagement ring you intend to wear with it. Check contact between settings and the space around shaped or raised details. Confirm stone identity, finger size and resizing, and read condition information for any ex-display item separately.

Read moreStatement eternity rings are intended to have a little more presence on the hand, so we'd start with the overall width and the size of the stones rather than just the total carat figure. A broader band may look wonderful worn alone, while a more delicate design can be easier to pair with an engagement ring. We'd also compare the setting height and how much detail continues around the sides.
A wider eternity ring can feel different from a fine wedding band, especially where raised stones extend towards the neighbouring fingers. We'd recommend trying a comparable width and checking how the band moves as you bend your hand. The correct size is particularly important if stones run all the way around and resizing is limited. Our wedding bands provide a useful comparison with simpler silhouettes.
A statement eternity ring can make a striking partner to an engagement ring, but the combined width may feel too substantial for some wearers. We'd try both rings together and look at the side profile for any contact between the stone settings. Some people prefer to wear a statement band on another finger instead. There's no rule that the two rings have to sit flush or even be worn together every day.
Our jewellery specialists would be delighted to help you compare designs at our London or Manchester showrooms, or in a virtual consultation.
