Assess the green centre

Look at the selected diamond in more than one view to assess the green tone and its distribution. A clean solitaire exposes the outline, while a halo or accent band changes the composition. Compare actual dimensions, not just the impression created by a collection photograph.

Check the colour disclosure

Read the issuer, date and comments on the report for the selected laboratory-grown diamond. Colour may arise during growth or from later treatment, so ask about the information available for that stone. Do not infer rarity or mined provenance from a coloured lab diamond’s appearance.
