Lily Arkwright Donates Wedding Rings to Terminally Ill Groom in Heartfelt Act of Kindness

A Special Request
We were contacted by Gift of a Wedding about a heartwarming yet urgent wedding request. Paul, a groom from Withington, Manchester, had been given a short time to live and was hoping to marry his fiancée, Julie, on Friday, 28th February 2025. Unfortunately, financial constraints had made their dream wedding feel out of reach. The charity was seeking a generous jeweller willing to donate two plain gold wedding rings to make their day complete.
After hearing their story, our team at Lily Arkwright didn’t hesitate to step in and help. We were delighted to provide Paul and Julie with their wedding bands, ensuring that they could exchange rings and celebrate their love in the way they had always dreamed.
