A single emerald-cut lab-grown alexandrite provides the colour in this Paris setting. The platinum 950 mount keeps the hidden diamond halo below the stone, preserving a simple outline from above.

Alexandrite is the coloured gemstone here; emerald describes its cut. Its rectangular outline sets the centre apart from the finer diamond detail hidden beneath it, with its identity clear in the uncluttered face-up view.

The setting distinguishes between a centre gemstone and profile diamonds. That separation makes the emerald-cut shape easy to read while retaining detail around its base.

The platinum 950 band is listed at 1.65mm wide. This restrained setting leaves the coloured stone and the profile halo in separate roles.
