Charlotte Copeman Highly Commended at the 2026 NAJ Awards

We are delighted to share that Charlotte Copeman, our Marylebone showroom manager, has been Highly Commended in the Rising Star of the Year category at the 2026 National Association of Jewellers Awards.

The ceremony took place at the ICC in Birmingham on Thursday 8 October 2026, bringing together people and businesses from across the UK jewellery industry. Charlotte's recognition is confirmed in the official NAJ Awards results, where she is named alongside Lily Arkwright.

For our team, it is a moment to celebrate both Charlotte's achievement and the people behind the experience we offer our customers.

Recognising emerging talent in jewellery

Sponsored by The Company of Master Jewellers, Rising Star of the Year recognises people at the beginning of their careers in the jewellery industry. The category welcomes entrants across different sectors and ages, with eligibility limited to those who have worked for their organisation for no more than two years. The NAJ sets out the category's purpose on its 2026 awards page.

Charlotte's Highly Commended distinction is a personal achievement, and one we are proud to share. It is particularly meaningful at this stage of her career, as she continues to build her experience in fine jewellery and showroom management.

Getting to know Charlotte

Charlotte joined Lily Arkwright after graduating from Oxford University with a degree in German Literature. When we spoke to her in September 2026, she had been with the business for just under two years. A career in luxury jewellery had not been her original plan, but she described quickly falling in love with the industry and the opportunity to be part of important decisions in customers' lives.

In our interview celebrating the Marylebone showroom's first anniversary, Charlotte reflected on the people and moments that had made the year memorable. Speaking about her favourite showroom experiences, she said:

“the people we welcome into our showroom are by far the best parts of our day.”

Her memories included returning customers discovering the new showroom and a proposal that took place just outside, immediately after a ring collection. These are the moments that make working in jewellery so personal: a consultation is often the beginning of a much longer story.

A personal approach to choosing jewellery

Charlotte's reflections also captured what the move to Marylebone has meant for our London team. The larger space made room for more appointments, visitors dropping in to browse, and a wider display of rings, gemstone pieces and fine jewellery.

For us, that setting matters because choosing jewellery should feel considered and enjoyable. Whether someone arrives with a clear design in mind or is only beginning to explore, we believe there should be time to ask questions, compare possibilities and discover what feels right.

Beautiful jewellery and thoughtful service belong together. Charlotte's enthusiasm for the people who visit us is a reminder that the experience surrounding a piece can become part of its meaning.

Celebrating Charlotte's achievement

We congratulate Charlotte on being Highly Commended and thank her for the contribution she makes to Lily Arkwright. We also extend our congratulations to this year's winners, fellow highly commended recipients and finalists.

As we look ahead to another year in our Marylebone showroom, we are proud to celebrate this recognition of a member of our team, and the beginning of what we hope will be a rewarding career in jewellery.
